Applying for TRiO

Incoming first-year and transfer students are strongly encouraged to apply.

There is no cost to participate for students who qualify.  The program is fully funded by the U.S. Department of Education through Rutgers-Camden.  The SSS Program at Rutgers University-Camden will ensure equitable access and participation to students regardless of their gender, race, national origin, color, disability, and/or age.

Next Step After Admittance to TRiO

Once admitted into the TRiO SSS Program, the participating student will be invited to attend a New Student Orientation or have a one-on-one session with their appointed SSS counselor.

Students are expected to be active in the program by meeting with their SSS counselor on a consistent basis (a minimum of three times each semester) and attending the provided programming services and activities.

Please Note

Admission to the program is not guaranteed. Enrollment is limited; students are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
